What could be learned from prehistoric cave art that we don’t already know? personally I never really thought about how me as a modern day human is related to my primitive ancestors but after taking a look at prehistoric cave art along with other materials provided by my instructor I began to see traits that were passed along. One such trait is the need to express creativity, this came to mind when primitive humans would venture into dark and dangerous cave to create what we know as cave paintings and I thought to myself, don’t we still do things such as this. Do we not risk ourselves in the name of art, such as modern day artists who will climb high structures to show their creative side. These people could easily be in the same if not more danger then our ancestors who ventured into pitch black caves.
